Carpal Tunnel: A Healing Reflection Worksheet
Explore what your hands may be trying to tell you and what healing they may be asking for.
Carpal tunnel syndrome happens when the median nerve that runs through the wrist gets compressed. It can cause numbness, tingling, pain, or weakness in the hand and fingers. Often linked to repetitive strain or overuse, it’s also a symbolic area: the hands and wrists are tools of giving, creating, holding, and releasing. When pain arises here, it may reflect deeper patterns like doing too much, grasping too tightly, or feeling unable to let go.
Step 1: Gentle Awareness of the Hands
Rest your hands on your lap or heart. Take three soft breaths. Ask yourself: What have I been holding onto too tightly? Where in my life am I overdoing or overgiving? What do I wish I could let go of?
Write what comes to mind:
Step 2: Let the Hands and Wrists Speak

Step 3: Mantras for Healing the Hands
Read or speak these gently:
Circle the one that feels most true for you:
I do not have to hold everything alone.I release what no longer serves me.I give and receive in balance. My worth is not measured by how much I do.I allow rest and restoration.
Step 4: Reflection Prompt
Choose one to explore: What am I ready to let go of? Where do I need to create better boundaries around my time or energy? What would change if I allowed myself to receive more?
